  • National Night Out in Lancaster: Meet-and-greet personnel from the local crime public safety departments and learn about anti-crime and drug awareness campaigns, 4-9 p.m. Aug. 3.   • Peace on Your Wings: The Ohana Arts youth theater company from Hawaii performs the musical written by Jenny Rubin-Taira and Laurie Rubin-Taira, based on the real-life story of Sadako Sasaki. Sasaki, affected by the uranium-235 atomic bomb dropped over Hiroshima on Aug. 6, 1945, was diagnosed at age 12 with leukemia. She started folding 1,000 origami cranes in hope that by doing so, according to a legend, that her wish for good health would be granted (she died on Oct. 25, 1955).
